recognizes the contributions of individuals, groups, and organizations whose unique efforts have impacted the education of Orange County students. Awards are presented at the Orange County Board of Education meetings, followed by a reception for honorees and guests.

Any individual, group or organization, whose efforts have contributed significantly to the education of Orange County students, can be nominated. Nominees may be, but are not limited to, administrators, cafeteria workers, community volunteers, counselors, nurses, crossing guards, custodians, secretaries, teachers, aides, transportation staff, service organizations, philanthropic groups, etc.

Individuals, school districts, and organizations are invited to nominate candidates. There is no limit to the number of nominations that may be submitted. Nomination forms may be duplicated. No supplementary material (i.e., pictures, letters, endorsements, etc.) will be reviewed.

After one (1) year, nominations not selected will be returned to the nominator who may update information and resubmit. All current nomination forms will be kept in an active file and only those candidates selected will be officially notified.

Nominations are accepted on a continuous basis, and selections are made after the following dates: •November 1   •January 15   •August 1
